About these terms
These terms are set by Polish Developer Network sp. z o.o., ul. Słoneczna 32/9, 33-100 Tarnów, Poland, entered in the National Court Register under KRS 0000788468 by the District Court for Kraków-Śródmieście in Kraków, 12th Commercial Division of the National Court Register; NIP 8733271495, REGON 383458475, share capital PLN 30,000 (‘PDN’, ‘we’).
They are the terms of service required by Polish law for services provided by electronic means (the Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means), and they apply to everyone who uses developernetwork.pl (‘you’). They are available free of charge before and while you use the site, and you can save or print them at any time.
What the site provides
We provide two electronic services, both free of charge:
- Browsing: access to the information published on developernetwork.pl, in English and Polish.
- Contact forms on the contact page: requesting a call, requesting a service and sending a message.
You do not need an account, and the site does not offer one.
Technical requirements
- A device connected to the internet.
- A current version of a common web browser.
- For the forms: JavaScript enabled for the Cloudflare Turnstile bot check. The pages and the forms themselves work without JavaScript; the check does not.
- To receive our reply: a working e-mail address or phone number.
If you cannot use the forms, write to us by post.
Using the site
When you use the site, you must not:
- provide unlawful content, including content that infringes the rights of others;
- send spam, advertising or mass submissions through the forms;
- pretend to be someone else or give another person’s details without their permission;
- disrupt the site, bypass its security or the bot check, or access data that is not meant for you. Good-faith security research under our security policy is welcome.
We may ignore and delete submissions that break these rules.
Start and end of the service agreement
- The agreement for browsing is concluded when you open any page of the site, and ends when you leave the site or close the browser.
- The agreement for a contact form is concluded when you start filling in the form, and ends when you send it or stop filling it in.
You can end either agreement at any time, without giving a reason and at no cost, by leaving the site. We may change or stop providing the site or any form at any time; this does not affect messages already sent.
Complaints
If the site or a form does not work as these terms describe, you can complain:
- through the message form, or
- by post to Polish Developer Network sp. z o.o., ul. Słoneczna 32/9, 33-100 Tarnów, Poland.
Please describe the problem, say when it happened and tell us how to reach you. We will consider your complaint and reply within 14 days of receiving it, by the same channel or to the address you give us.
Software in your browser and risks
The site sets no cookies. Apart from the site’s own code, two Cloudflare scripts run in your browser: Turnstile, on the contact page only, which tells people from bots, and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies. The privacy policy explains both.
Like any internet service, using the site carries general risks, such as malware on your device, phishing sites that imitate real ones, or data being intercepted on an insecure network. The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Keep your browser and operating system up to date, and check that the address is developernetwork.pl before you send anything.
Information, not an offer
The content of the site, including descriptions of our services and the technologies we work with, is general information. It is not an offer within the meaning of Article 66 of the Polish Civil Code, but an invitation to negotiate within the meaning of Article 71. Sending a form does not oblige us to provide any service. Every engagement is governed by a separate written agreement.
Intellectual property
The content and design of the site, including its texts, graphics, diagrams, logo, layout and code, belong to PDN or are used under licence, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view them, and save or print them for your own use and to evaluate our services. Any other use, in particular copying them or publishing them elsewhere, requires our prior written consent, except where the law allows it.
UniFi product images are the manufacturer’s product imagery, used only to identify the products we work with. They are served from our own domain, not linked from the manufacturer’s site, and all rights in them remain with their owner.
Trademarks
UniFi and Ubiquiti are trademarks of Ubiquiti Inc. KNX is a trademark of KNX Association. Microsoft and .NET are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Other names may be trademarks of their respective owners. Polish Developer Network is an independent company and is not affiliated with any of them. We use these names only to describe the products and technologies we work with.
Links to other sites
The site may link to websites run by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your data.
Liability
We take care to keep the information on the site accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee that the information is complete, current or free of errors, or that the site will always be available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from the use of information on the site or from the site being unavailable. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, in particular for damage caused intentionally, or the rights of consumers.
Governing law and disputes
These terms and the agreements they describe are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Disputes with businesses will be settled by the common court competent for PDN’s registered office, and disputes with consumers by the court competent under the general rules.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when the site or the law changes. A new version applies from the day it is published on this page, and the date of the latest version is shown here. Services already in progress are completed under the version in force when they began.
