Accessibility statement

We want this site to work for everyone, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Our target is WCAG 2.2 level AA.

Our commitment

Polish Developer Network sp. z o.o. has voluntarily committed to making developernetwork.pl, in both English and Polish, conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

Based on our own assessment, the site partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 level AA: our own content is built to meet it, with the exceptions listed under known limitations.

What we have done

  • Everything can be used with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, and each page starts with a link that skips to the main content.
  • Keyboard focus is always clearly visible.
  • Text has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
  • Animations are reduced or switched off when your system is set to reduce motion (prefers-reduced-motion).
  • All content is complete without JavaScript.
  • Every page declares its language, English or Polish, so that screen readers use the right pronunciation.
  • Images that carry information have text alternatives.
  • Decorative animated diagrams are hidden from assistive technology, and the same information is given as text next to them.
  • The layout adapts to screens from 360 pixels wide up to 6K displays.

Known limitations

  • The Cloudflare Turnstile bot check on the contact page is provided by Cloudflare, and its accessibility depends on Cloudflare. If it stops you from sending a form, write to us by post.
  • On the Polish pages, product and technology names, such as UniFi Protect or ASP.NET Core, stay in English because they are proper names. Screen readers may pronounce them using Polish rules.

Słoneczna 32/9, 33-100 Tarnów, Poland. Please give the page address and a short description of the problem and, if you like, the device, browser and assistive technology you use.

We will reply within 5 business days and tell you how and when we will fix the problem, or give you the information in another way.
