Web applications
Business applications in C#, .NET and modern web front ends. Designed for long lifecycles and real users.
Polish Developer Network · Tarnów, Poland · Worldwide
PDN is an independent engineering company. Two teams, one standard: quality, security and privacy. We work remotely by default and travel when the job needs it.
Two divisions
Software and Smart Buildings are run by different people with different tools. What they share is how we work: careful, security-first, and clear about scope.
01
Custom software and engineering teams for the financial sector.
02
Networks, security and automation for offices, hotels and homes.
01 — Software
Most of our software work is for banking and finance: long-running B2B contracts where correctness, auditability and data control matter more than novelty. We also work with other industries that value the same things.
Business applications in C#, .NET and modern web front ends. Designed for long lifecycles and real users.
Domain-heavy systems for banks and financial companies: integrations, workflows, reporting, compliance-aware design.
Practical machine learning and LLM-based automation embedded in your processes, running on your infrastructure.
Senior engineers who join your team, your tools and your rituals, for as long as you need them.
We take a defined scope end to end: analysis, architecture, delivery, support.
You keep the lead. We add engineers who report to you and work in your environment.
Technologies
02 — Smart Buildings
We design, commission and look after UniFi networks and KNX building automation for small and mid-size businesses and high-end homes. Order one or both: they are separate services delivered by one team.
UniFi
One platform for the network, cameras, door access, power, audio and IoT. Managed locally, with no licences or subscriptions.

KNX
The open, worldwide standard for building automation since 1990: thousands of certified devices from hundreds of manufacturers, with no vendor lock-in.
Surveys, audits, advisory
From controller to the last device
Remote, continuous
When something misbehaves
Optional: racking and stacking
We advise on and coordinate cable installation and termination. A cabling contractor performs it.
Who we work for
UniFi + KNX
UniFi runs the network, cameras and doors. KNX runs lights, blinds and climate. Connected, they react to each other: locally, with no cloud in between.
A door opens with UniFi Access. KNX lights the entrance and sets the room to comfort mode. Protect keeps the clip locally.
Last person out: KNX drops to eco mode, blinds close, Protect switches to away recording.
Smoke or intrusion: all lights on, blinds up, doors locked or released by policy, cameras record at full quality.
Values
We cannot be best at everything, so we choose carefully: C# / .NET web applications for finance, and high-end hardware from trusted brands for buildings.
Current cybersecurity practice, secure devices and networks only, and the highest standards for handling customer data.
Local-first by default. Data stays on your infrastructure and inside your building. Cloud features only when you ask for them.
Cloud features: on explicit request only
Delivery model
Remote delivery is the most cost-effective option and covers most of the work. We travel worldwide for the parts that need a person in the room; travel adds to the total cost.
Available globally in English and Polish. Country-specific regulations for building work may add effort and cost.
Experience
2007
Sole proprietorship. Five years of designing and configuring smart homes: KNX and other systems.
2012
Sole proprietorship. Automated testing first, then classic software development. Still active today.
2019
A new limited company. The team moved here and has delivered software since.
2026
The building-technology experience returns as a second division: UniFi and KNX.
10+
years of software development, as a team
5+
years in smart homes and building automation, as a team
7+
years of PDN as a company
Exlab, ALM and PDN are separate legal entities. PDN is not the legal successor of either. What carried over is people and experience.
Client confidentiality
All our work is delivered under NDA. Publishing project details, even sanitised photos, narrows the attack surface around our clients, and a public client list would make us a target too.
So we publish nothing about our customers. References and details are shared in a private meeting, once we have verified that a prospect is a real, legitimate business or customer.
A short call is the fastest way to find out whether we are the right fit.
